A Tender Heart

As sin increases in the world there is greater callousness due to lying, greed and fear that takes advantage of good will. It is easy to become hardened against doing good, but this is not the way that Christ encourages us

Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Jesus, himself, continually did good as He was moved by a tender heart toward those around Him.
Mat_9:36 But seeing the crowds, He was moved with compassion on them, because they were tired and scattered like sheep having no shepherd.
Mat_14:14 And Jesus went out and saw a great crowd, and He was moved with compassion toward them. And He healed their sick.
Luk_7:13 And when the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep.

Heb 5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in the things pertaining to God, so that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,
Heb_5:2 who can have compassion on the ignorant and on those who are out of the way. For he himself also is compassed with weakness.

Col_3:12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long-suffering,
Col 3:14 And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.
Col 3:17 And everything, whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

So, there you have it. We are to be imitators of Christ in our relationships with others. The Holy Spirit within those who have accepted Christ as lord and savior will help us to be transformed into His likeness.
