Blessings & Gifts

God’s promises to Israel (His people) through Moses: (Amplified) Numbers 6:24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard and keep you. Vs. 25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful and giving favor ) to you. Vs. 26 The Lord lift up His (approving) countenance upon you, and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).

He who earnestly seeks good finds favor, but trouble will come to him who seeks evil.

Proverbs 11:27

The mouth of the upright will deliver them. Proverbs 12:6 Good understanding gains favor. Proverbs 13:15

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more when it is brought with wicked intent. Proverbs 21:27 (Do not sacrifice to receive blessings if you are not living correctly.)

A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. Proverbs 28:20

He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.

Proverbs 28:27

God waits to be gracious and have mercy on you in order that He will be exalted. Those who wait for Him are blessed and receive justice. Isaiah 30:18

Those who wait on The Lord shall renew their strength and be lifted as on eagles wings. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

God guides his people and makes the rough places smooth. Isaiah 42:16 God fulfills the vision of those who wait (on Him). Habakkuk 2:1-3 Good works will be rewarded. Matt:16:27

All things work for good to those that love the Lord. Rom. 8:28 All good and perfect gifts come from God. James 1:17

Desire spiritual gifts, especially prophesy, speaking to build-up, to encourage and to comfort

those in the church. 1Cor.14:1-4,12

Spiritual gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, discerning of spirits, different tongues, interpretation of tongues are given by the Holy Spirit for help. 1Cor.12:3-11

Spiritual gifts according to grace: Prophecy, ministry, teaching, exhortation (encouragement), giving, mercy, brotherly love, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, steadfast in prayer, giving to the saved & being hospitable. Romans 12:6-13, 1Cor.12:28

Spiritual understanding is given to the meek. Matt.11:25, Luke 10:21

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another in Christ. 1st Peter 4:10

Do not neglect the gift (talent) within you that you have been given by prophecy , the voices of prophets and the laying on of the hands of elders (of the church). Meditate on these things and give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

1st Tim.4:14-15 , 2Tim.1:6

Fruits of the Spirit are: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. There are no laws against these things. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Gal.5:22-25 Goodness, righteousness & truth. Ephesians 5:9

Fruits of righteousness are given by Christ to the glory and praise of God. Philip.1:11 Because of the richness of God’s grace, we can be saved, by Christ’s blood, and are given an

abundance of wisdom and prudence by knowing the hidden parts of His will. God did all of this because it pleased Him; He having put this quality in Himself. Ephesians 1:7-9

Bless those that persecute you. Romans 12:14

Do good deeds in secret to be blessed openly of god. Matt.6:1-4 Pray in secret to be blessed openly. Matt.6:6

Gentiles receive justice & trust in Christ. Matt. 12:18, 21

Even with your desire, you do not have because you do not ask, or when you ask you do so for the wrong reason to fulfill your pleasures. (Instead of God’s will) James 4:2-4

If a (follower of Christ) asks anything according to His will, we know that He (God) hears, and whatever is asked is given. 1st John 5:14-15

Whatever we ask of Christ, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. God commands that we believe on the name of His son Jesus Christ and love one another. 1st John 3:22-23

Blessings & miracles are hindered by unbelief. Matt.13:57-58, Mark 6:4-5 Blessings are available to all of faith. Matt.15:22-28

With God all things are possible. Matt.19:26 Godly virtue heals. Luke 6:19, 8:46

Faith in Christ saves & heals. Luke 7:50, 8:24-25, 8:48

Healings come through the stripes (wounds) of Christ. (Received before His crucifixion) 1st

Peter 2:23-24

Those who have given up family or possessions for Christ will receive a hundredfold plus eternal life. Matt.19:29, Mark 10:29-31

Blessings are given a faithful servant (of God) as he rules over his goods. Matt.24:46-47 Blessings & talents must be used for good to receive more. If they are not used, they will be

taken away. Mark 4:24-25, Luke 8:18

Blessings are given to the nation doing God’s work. Matt.21:43 Beatitudes of promised blessings are given and described. Luke 6:20-23

Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep (remember & do) it. Luke 11:28 Outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Cor. 4:16 God will complete his good work among believers by the day of Jesus Christ. (When he

returns, those who are following Christ will become perfected and will have the mind of Christ.) Philippians 1:6

Those who are dead to their old ways of sin and are no longer in bondage to the desires of the body have been given a new life (nature) and have been forgiven of all (past) trespasses. The trespasses ,described by the old testament law, have been removed by nailing them to the cross of Christ. This disarming triumph over the principalities and powers makes a public spectacle of them. Colossians 2:13-15, Ephesians 2:15

Anyone who has given up family relationships for the sake of God’s kingdom will be blessed many times more now and during eternal life after death. Luke 18:29-30

All who labor to save the lost, as a harvest, gathers fruit (blessings) for eternal life. John 4:35-38

Anyone who desires can drink of Christ’s (Spirit). Rivers of living water (Spirit) flow out of the hearts of those who believe in Christ. John 7:37-39

God opens salvation and access to the Holy Spirit to the gentiles seeking God through repentance and Christ . Acts 10:9-16, 22, 34-35, 45-48, 11:18, 28:28

God, the Father of Christ, has prepared every spiritual blessing in heaven for those in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

The saved in Christ have a predestined inheritance because God purposed it in the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:11 The inheritance is kept by faith. 1st Peter 1:4-5,9

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates both day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bring forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1

Blessed are the poor, those that mourn, the meek, the hungry, the merciful, the pure in heart, peacemakers and the persecuted. Matt.5:3-10

Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he is approved (judged), he will receive the crown of life the Lord promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

Blessed are those who read and hear the prophecy of “The Revelation” and obey those things written. Revelation 1:3 See promises.
