Work(s)

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Tim.2:15

Christians are to do all work well as though they are working for Christ. Col.3:23

Works are noted by God and rewarded accordingly. Psalms 33:15, Matt. 16:7, Rev. 2:2, 22:12 Do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Heb.13:16

The works of Christ bear witness (prove) that God (the Father) sent Him. John 5:36

Faith without works is dead. You are justified by faith and resultant works. James 2:14-26 All things work together for good to those who love God. Romans 8:28

God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we (those that are His) ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20

Work with your hands, doing what is good, that you may give to someone in need. Eph.4:28 Those that please God can be fruitful in every good work, increasing in knowledge of God;

strengthened with His power, patience and longsuffering with joy, and giving thanks to the Father. Colossians 1:10-12

Commit your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established. Proverbs 16:3 Those who will not work should not eat (food provided by the church. Some who were

appointed to work in the church were just being busybodies and gossiping. This was a correctional method to get them back into productive pursuits.) 2Thes.3:10-12

Maintain good works that are good and profitable to men. Titus 3:8
