Animals Are In Heaven
Many people are animal lovers and have pets. They may be in doubt as to whether their pet will be in Heaven after they depart this earth. Those who have come back from a short death and describe their stay in Heaven assure us that they saw animals there. Scripture also confirms that animals will be in Heaven. We take hope from all of these accounts. God is good and desires that most of His creations having blood will be in Heaven to give Him glory and to make Heaven complete.
Isa_11:6 Also the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the cub lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the suckling child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den (without fear of harm).
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be the Root of Jesse standing for a banner of the people; to Him the nations shall seek; and His resting place shall be glorious.
Isa 11:11 And it shall be in that day, the Lord shall again set His hand, the second time, to recover the remnant of His people that remains, from Assyria and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Persia, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coasts of the sea.
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth. And the things before will not be remembered, nor come to mind.
Isa_65:25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the food of the snake. They will not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, says Jehovah.
Rev_6:2 And I saw. And behold a white horse! And he sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer.
Rev_19:11 And I saw Heaven opened. And behold, a white horse! And He sitting on him was called Faithful and True. And in righteousness He judges and makes war.
(A likely reference to the battle of Armageddon against those who would make war against Israel and try to take the land God promised to Abraham forever.)
Rev_19:14 And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev_21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And the sea no longer is.
Rev 21:2 And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.
Rev 21:4 And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there will be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying out, nor will there be any more pain; for the first things passed away.
In all of these views of Heaven we see that animals shall lose earthly appetites and shall lie in peace together. They no longer must feed on each other to live.
The returning army of Christ is to be on horses found in Heaven. Thus, other animals are there also in the New Earth of Heaven. Since there are no more seas, it is not likely that fish will be in residence within Heaven unless they live only in lakes or change their need for water to live.
