God Working to Save and to Bless

Pro 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it shall eat the fruit of it.

2Co 3:3 it having been made plain that you are the epistle of Christ, ministered by us, not having been written with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tablets of stone, but in fleshly tablets of the heart.
2Co 3:4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God,
2Co 3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God;
2Co 3:6 who also has made us able ministers of the new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

As ministers for Christ we are not trusting in ourselves to supply all the details of scripture to those we speak to as we introduce them to Jesus and His words. Our goal is not to scare or confuse anyone with details for all that is required to be changed into the image of Christ, but to open the door of understanding that leads to a Godly life. Each person’s further study of scripture and the Holy Spirit’s influence in their life will continue to guide them into what God desires. We need only to explain of Christ’s love and desire to save, why He came and why all have a need for His grace through His sacrifices for us. God is fully capable of continuing a good work for all in sin who accept Christ as the son of God the Father and who desires to be lord of our lives. All must accept Jesus’s death and resurrection on a faith that, in turn, will result in their resurrection to Heaven to be with God forever.
