Invested Interest
Job_13:5 Let your way of life be without the love of money, and be content with such things as you have, for He has said, “Not at all will I leave you, not at all will I forsake you, never!”
Joh 14:17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you.
Joh 14:19 Yet a little while and the world does not see Me anymore. But you see Me. Because I live, you shall live also.
Joh 14:20 At that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.
Joh_14:2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh_14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that where I am, you may be also.
Jesus knew that he had major tasks ahead of him. He was to be crucified and leave earth, yet he must provide for all those who were to follow him. If he had remained, as a human, there was no way that he could care for each individual to teach, give hope and instruction and care for the needs of all people in an expanding world. He also needed to prepare places for all saved in Heaven at the same time. This was a dilemma for any human, but not for God.
Jesus prayed for The Father to send the Holy Spirit to represent Him and constantly keep in touch with each individual for teaching, guidance, and communication to God the Father as an intercessor/translator. Every person following Christ was assured to come to Heaven as a purified Saint. They still had to be prepared to enter Heaven. Mercy had provided their covering salvation, but they needed to be taught and encouraged to become changed into the image of Christ. God was up to the tasks before Him.
Christ again applied Himself to creating the beauty of Heaven that was to be even better than the earth He had already provided. The Holy Spirit would abide in each saved person to intercede for them to the Father, to recall the words of Christ for teaching, encouragement, conviction of what is sin and to interpret their prayers to God according to the will of the Father. The Holy Spirit would also aid in the prayers of individuals to communicate their heart feelings to God. God is totally invested in caring for those saved by their accepting Jesus as their lord and to provide for all their needs. (I didn’t say all their wants.) Take hope that Christ is still with you in Spirit and you are loved. You are not forgotten and left to fend for yourself. You have a loving, mighty, holy, all powerful defender that is always looking out for your best interests.
Have a great day with God! He has you totally covered!
