The Judgement of God

Heb_9:27 And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment,

Act_17:31 because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man (Jesus) whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead.

Rom 2:1 Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges; for in that in which you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things.
Rom 2:2 But know that the judgment of God is according to truth on those who practice such things.
Rom 2:3 And, O man, the one judging those who do such things, and practice them, do you think this, that you shall escape the judgment of God?
Rom 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
Rom 2:5 But according to your hardness and your impenitent heart, do you treasure up wrath for yourself in a day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
Rom 2:6 who will render to each according to his works;
Rom 2:7 indeed to those who with patience in good work are seeking for glory, and honor, and incorruptibility, everlasting life.
Rom 2:8 But to those who indeed disobeying the truth (given by Christ) out of self-seeking, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath,
Rom 2:9 tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man who has worked out evil; of the Jew first, and also of the Greek.
Rom 2:10 But He will give glory, honor and peace to every man who works good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. (This refers to the white throne judgement for believers in Christ)
Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of faces with God.
Rom 2:12 For as many as sinned without Law will also perish without Law. And as many as have sinned within Law shall be judged through Law.
Rom 2:13 For it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.
Rom 2:14 For when the nations, who do not have the Law, do by nature the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law unto themselves;
Rom 2:15 who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing one another,
Rom_2:16 in a day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Rom 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

The judgement of believers
1Co 3:13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
1Co 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1Co 3:15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2Co 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The judgement of those in Christ is not to determine if they are fit for Heaven, for that has already been established through Christ’s sacrifice for their salvation. Rather, it is to determine what rewards are to be theirs in Heaven.

1Co_11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

When we judge our own wrong actions as incorrect and correct them ourselves, God does not have to judge for we have already acted on our decision that what was done is incorrect and future actions must change. We are still under God’s grace. If we have asked for forgiveness and have had a change in attitude effecting our future actions.

Joh 12:47 And if any one hears My Words and does not believe, I do not judge him, for I do not come to judge the world, but to save the world.
Joh 12:48 He who rejects Me and does not receive My Words has one who judges him; the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

The words of Christ, given by God the Father, will judge all those who do not believe in Christ as the resurrected son of God. This is a separate judgement for non-believers.

2Ti_4:1 Therefore I solemnly witness before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who is going to judge the living and the dead according to His appearance and His kingdom,
Jesus will judge all depending on how they did or did not receive Him as the son of God in human form when on earth.

Joh 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has given to the Son to have life within Himself,
Joh 5:27 and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
Joh 5:28 Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves shall hear His voice,
Joh 5:29 and shall come forth, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have practiced evil to the resurrection of condemnation.
Joh_5:30 I can do nothing of My own self. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the Father who has sent Me.

Joh 8:12 Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
Joh 8:13 Therefore the Pharisees said to Him, You bear record concerning yourself; your witness is not true.
Joh 8:14 Jesus answered and said to them, Though I bear record concerning Myself, My witness is true. For I know from where I came, and where I go. But you do not know from where I came, and where I go.
Joh_8:15 You judge after the flesh, I judge no one.
Joh_8:16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me.
Jesus tells the Pharisees that they judge others based on their earthly nature, but God judges the heart and the spiritual nature. Both Jesus and God The Father are in agreement on judgments because Jesus always does the will of The Father.

Luk 6:35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.
Luk 6:36 Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
Luk_6:37 Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
Do not judge or condemn others but leave that to God. Then, because you show mercy, God will be merciful to you.

Heb_10:30 For we know Him who has said, “Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, says the Lord.” And again, “The Lord shall judge His people.” God judges those that are His and the words of Christ (from the Father) judge everyone else.

Joh_5:45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you, Moses, in whom you trust. Those that put their faith in Moses and obeying the Law to receive salvation will be accused (prosecuted) by Moses. Salvation through the law is impossible to achieve since failing in any item is the same as failing in all items. We cannot be perfect in ourselves, but only by the covering of our sins by Christ’s blood spilled on the cross. This is achieved by accepting and believing in Christ as savior and lord

1Jn_3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not accuse us, we have confidence toward God.
If those trusting in Christ are not given a troubled heart by the Holy Spirit, concerning anything, then they need not worry about god’s judgement.

Rev_3:5 The one who overcomes, this one will be clothed in white clothing. And I will not blot out his name out of the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. By continuing to have faith in Christ and striving to do those things He commanded through life one overcomes Satan’s lies and temptations.

Rev_20:12 And I saw the dead, the small and the great, stand before God. And books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead in it. And death and hell delivered up the dead in them. And each one of them was judged according to their works.
This applies to all (the dead) that have not accepted Christ as their lord and savior. The earth and all its inhabitants have been destroyed when this occurs.

Rev_20:15 And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the Lake of Fire.
Only by the grace of Christ can anyone become written in the Book of Life.

Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame.”
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him.
Rom 10:13 For everyone, “whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Joh 9:39 And Jesus said, I have come into this world for judgment, that they who do not see might see, and that they who see might be made blind.
Jesus came to earth to prepare people for judgement by defining sin more clearly and offering them a means of salvation. It was impossible to be sinless through the Old Testament Law that required perfection in all the law. Therefore, God the Father sent Christ to offer salvation by grace that covered sin and made it possible for God to allow believers to be in His Holy presence in Heaven. There is a judgement for those condemned because they did not accept Christ as their savior and there is a white throne judgement for those believers in Christ with their sins blocked through the salvation offered by Jesus. Those in Christ will have already been approved for Heaven, but they will be judged to see what crowns are appropriate for their lives while on earth.
