Live in today and plan for eternity

Live in today and planforeternity by lcl

God sees Christians as: The past is over, covered and forgotten. The present is an opportunity for working toward the goal of being like Jesus and achieving the future of Heaven. God sent the Holy Spirit to help, teach, encourage and aid us in communicating with Himself. The bible is given as a guidebook to know God and know good from evil. Angels are used as God’s spiritual workers, messengers and aids to those alive in Christ. We are not alone! The following scriptures are a condensed guide for encouragement and knowledge while we live on earth and combat the temptations and snares ofSatan.

Mat_22:37 Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39 And the second islike it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame.”

Rom 10:12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him.

Rom 10:13 For everyone, “whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn! For they shall be comforted.

Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek! For they shall inherit the earth.

Mat 5:6 Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness! For they shall be filled.

Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful! For they shall obtain mercy. Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart! For they shall see God.

Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers! For they shall be called the sons of God.

Mat 5:10 Blessed are they who have been persecuted for righteousness sake! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

Mat 5:11 Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for My sake.

Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven is great. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Mat 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you, Mat 6:6 But you, when you pray, enter into your room. And shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.

Mat_6:25 Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

Mat_6:26 Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are?

Mat_6:28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, nor do they spin,

Mat_6:30 Therefore if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much rather clothe you, little-faiths?

Mat_6:31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed?

Mat_6:34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow shall be anxious for its own things. Sufficient to the day is the evil of it.

Mar_13:7 And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled. For it must happen, but the end shall not be yet.

Luk_12:28 If then God so clothes the grass (which today is in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven) how much more will He clothe you, O little-faiths?

Luk_18:20 You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and your mother.

Joh_14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Rom_12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse.

Rom_12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good

Rom_13:9 For: “Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not bear false witness; do not lust;” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Heb_3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

2Co_4:1 Therefore since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not faint.

2Co_4:16 For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day

2Co_6:14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship does righteousness have with lawlessness? And what partnership does light have with darkness?

2Co_6:17 Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you

Eph_6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Php_4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Col_3:23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men;

1Th_5:19 Do not quench the (Holy) Spirit. 1Th_5:20 Do not despise prophesying.

2Th_3:13 But you, brothers, do not be weary in well doing.

1Ti 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel.

Jas_5:12 But before all things, my brothers, do not swear; neither by the heaven nor by the earth, nor any other oath. But let your yes be yes, and your no, no, lest you fall into condemnation.

We live today in fellowship with Christ and in the hope of tomorrow to see Him face to face and live with Him forever.
