Put to death these parts you have while on earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desires and covetousness, which is idolatry. These things bring the wrath of God. Take off the old nature to: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy and speaking filthy language. Do not lie. Put on your new self that has been renewed with knowledge of Him (Christ) who has created the new you. Here there are no race or class differences, but Christ is everything in each one. The Lord knows how to deliver the Godly out of temptations and reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgement. Especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanliness and despise authority. They are like brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed. They speak evil of things they do not understand and will utterly perish in their corruption and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it a pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes being deceived and having eyes full of adultery, and cannot cease from sin as they
entice the unstable souls of others. Their hearts have been trained in covetous practices and have gone astray. They speak great swelling words of emptiness, and allure through lusts of the flesh and lewdness. They promise liberty while they are slaves of corruption. If they escape the pollutions of the world through knowledge of Christ, but are again entangled and overcome, the latter end is worse for them. 2ndPeter 2:9-22
