God sends a plague that kill those Israelites that eat quail, given by Him. They had
yielded to their craving (Nu.11:33-34) and had been complaining about wanting meat (Nu.11:4) and were not thankful about being rescued from Egypt. Psalm 78:21-31
Miriam was given leprosy (for 7 days) when she spoke against Moses for marrying an Ethiopian woman. Numbers 12:1, 9-15
The earth swallows 3 families that would not follow Moses’s commands. Nu.16:12-33 Holy fire kills 250 not appointed by God as holy when they try to perform a priestly duty.
