Repentance
(To have true remorse for past wrongs done through a sinful nature, to decide to do better and to cry out to God for forgiveness and help.)
God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2nd
Peter 3:9
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
Godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which will not be regretted, but the sorrow of the world produces death. 2Cor.7:9-10
