Yes, God is all powerful, but He is a loving God that only gives good gifts and will provide guidance to those following Jesus. He is slow to anger, but just, to allow us to choose our destination of Heaven or Hell. Satan is the one who seeks to kill, steal and destroy.
John 10:10

God is also warm and loving to those who love Him in return. He will provide a light through the worst storm and go through it with you. Gen 9:13 I set my rainbow in the cloud. And it shall be a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.
God shows His love for mankind in the rainbow. It is an everlasting agreement and shows He is very real and very alive and in control. Be encouraged!
God can meet you any-where, even if you are up a tree trying to escape a real problem. Seek Him where-ever you are. He can help, but it may not be in a way that you expect. Pray, asking for help, then wait while looking for opening and closing doors of opportunity. Go in the direction that gives you the most peace and agrees with scripture. Give thanks while God is working and when you feel the problem is resolved.

Yet, even more amazing is the fact that this great God is very interested in every part of all our lives and desires us to pray to Him about all our decisions and needs. He is approachable, and especially cares about those who care about Him. He even knows the number of hairs on your head.
Luk_12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear, you are of more value than many sparrows.
He knows each person, even before they are born. This was spoken to Jeremiah, who answered God's call to service.

Mountaintop experiences are wonderful, but often we go through the valleys where we learn and grow through strife. God promises to be with those who are led by Jesus to guide and comfort them, David wrote of one such experience. God calls us to be over-comers with Him in control.

Jonah was under the sea where the waves passed over him. This picture is similar where the crashing waves pound the lighthouse about this man. Yet, God sustained both men in the storm. God's hedge of protection can do that when He desires. Do not be afraid of the size of the problem, but think on the size and power of God who is able to overcome all things and commands all things. Jesus said that even the rocks would cry out if the desciples remained silent about His lordship.
Luk_19:40 And He answered and said to them, I tell you that if these should be silent, the stones would cry out.
Consider how those who have had death experiences and return to life tell how beautiful Heaven is and how brilliant the colors are. The Spirit world of Heaven is the ultimate in beauty where color is seen with the aid of the Holy light of Christ & God the Father. All experiences there will be amazing!
