A House and Kingdom Divided
Jesus gave this wisdom a long time ago:
Mar 3:24 And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
Mar 3:25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Luk 11:17 But knowing their thoughts, He said to them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And a house divided against a house falls.
Today, I read in the newspaper that government is creating a separate Hispanic voting district. This is just another example of how America is falling apart. California has its own Mexican clique that vows to take over from the old white generation. People of color no longer trusted the early America that had wrongly put them in chains. It was wrong, but is there never any grace for a new generation? Where is the incentive to learn and stand on self support instead of many being again bound to a new master called welfare? Socialist just say raise taxes and print more money. But, that causes inflation, loss of trust and loss of jobs where everyone loses.
America used to be considered a melting pot for pooling the resources of many diverse cultures into one. We were a single nation under God. A union of many individual states bonded together for the common good. There was strength in unity and we prospered as families bonded into a larger family. We have lost that vision today. It did not happen overnight, but has been going on for awhile now. Religious separation became apparent when we could no longer pray in school. Someone might be offended! Our courts misconstrued silent prayer as forcing a particular religion on students. But, couldn’t students pray to any God or just take a nap during prayer time? Maybe, the courts were just ashamed to acknowledge that there was a god at all. Besides, some might feel guilty in just getting rid of the children by abortion. God’s view didn’t count. Maybe Islam’s Sharia law should be used to judge Muslims. That seems fair. Just bring on another judicial system and explain to the policemen exactly who is breaking what law.
Then, we didn’t want to speak a single English language , but retain individual cultural dialects and customs. Surly, that would be good to make it easier to vote and converse locally. We just could not talk to other groups. Who cared about their opinions anyway?
Why should there be a whole family anyway? Couldn’t single parents raise children? Or, why not two parents of the same gender? No matter, that children need to draw and learn from a well rounded environment. No matter, that a man and woman each have individual strengths that complement each other. American families are splintering and our culture is become more divided. More people are thumbing their noses at God’s guidance. Isn’t it a shame that so many men don’t respect women any more? Evidently, more people feel that all individuals just need to be accountable to the courts instead of an all-seeing loving and just God. God just doesn’t count for a lot of people these days, and America is paying a price for our disunity.
