Even from the time of Adam and Eve Satan’s lies have attempted to lead people from believing in and following Jehovah God. Even though God’s blessings and trials for growth were upon them and they were in God’s love, some have been deceived into thinking that they needed more or something different. They did not realize how wonderful God was and what greatness was in store for them if they continued in their belief and trust in their greatest benefactor. They did not realize the seriousness of their actions (even though scripture clearly warns against it) or know that if they rejected God, He would also reject them. God simply gives them what they choose, an eternity without His fellowship for they have put Jesus to shame and rejected His salvation through His suffering. They would be condemned to an eternal death of suffering because God’s loving presence would no longer shield them from what Satan will endure with them. They will be together with Satan, whom they chose of their free will over God. It means that they rejected God’s Heaven and instead chose Satan’s Hell!
Beware the deceptions of small lies that lead you away from the truth of God. Continue to seek God through Christ and obey His words that lead to life. Christ is our only hope!
