Why would God have us wait for an answer?
1. To test our faith to see if we trust God to provide what is needed
2. To strengthen our resolve to overcome the problem
3. To allow us to possibly change our viewpoint before asking for something that is not in our best interest
4. To impress us more greatly when the answer happens. We appreciate help more when the need is urgent. Then, God gets greater glory and thanks.
5. To allow God time to work in preparing us for the answer.
6. To allow God time to work in others and circumstances to bring the answer.
While waiting continue to praise God, study his words, do what you can to take the initial steps toward your answer. God only gives us what we are ready for. Rest in the knowledge that God has not forgotten you and any request in His will asked for in the name of Jesus. Ask yourself what God could be doing by allowing this test of your faith.
